The Latin Rhythm Dance School in association with the Hispanic Club and the Embassy of Argentina run a broad range of Latin American cultural events during the year including dance festivals, film festivals, winetastings, cooking lessons and spanish language meetups.

Cuervo Nation Party (Saturday 21st March 9pm) - $5

Declare your independence from study with the Hispanic Club and Jose Cuervo.

Featuring NZ's sexiest Latin DJ, DJ Azucar playing the very best of Salsa, Reggaeton, Cumbia and Latin Rock all night long.

WineTrades's Taste of Argentina (Saturday 28th March 9pm) - $10 or $7 (members)

Sample the best Wines of Argentina with our special guest Tomas Tonnelier from Winetrader, whom will be sharing his 10 years experience in the famous Argentine wine industry including Malbecs.

We will be sampling the fine wines from:

  • BODEGAS SEPTIMA
  • BODEGAS CASA MONTES
  • BODEGAS LOS CERRILLOS.

Cine Argentino (Thursdays 9pm from April - Nov ) - FREE

Watch for free the latest and very best films of Argentina. Argentina has the largest film industry in Latin America and its films are on a par with those of Italy, Spain and France.

This event has been organised with the help of the Embassy of Argentina.

All films are projected on our huge screen in spanish with english subtitles.

Latino Scary Film Festival (Thursdays 12, 19 & 26 March) - $2

Watch some of the scariest films to come out of the Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre independent horror film festival.

We are showing DEATH KNOWS YOUR NAME, LAST GATEWAY, RUN, RUN BUNNY and HABITACIONES PARA TURISTAS.

All films will be shown with english subtitles..
